Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the software products and services provided by Plainspoken Foundry Nine ("PF9", "we", "us", or "our"). By subscribing to or using any PF9 product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

PF9 provides web-based software applications on a subscription basis. Each product (FLOWTRACK, QUALIFI, SHIFTLOG, REPORTR, INSPECTR, LANDLORDR, TENANTLINK, PERMITR, TASKFLOW, OPSIQ, COMPLI) is a separate service with its own pricing and features as described on our store page.

2. Accounts

When you subscribe, we create an account using the email address you provide. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe
• Pricing is flat-rate per product — no per-user fees
• You may cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal (accessible from our login page)
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

4. Free Demos

Demo access is provided for evaluation purposes. Demo data may be reset periodically. Demo accounts do not include data persistence guarantees or support.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Use automated scripts to access or scrape our services
• Resell or redistribute access to our products without written permission
• Upload malicious code or content that could harm our systems

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into our applications. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. Upon request, we will provide an export of your data in a standard format.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (internet outages, third-party services, force majeure).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PF9's total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion.

10. Desktop Software (WealthWatch)

WealthWatch is provided as a free desktop application "as is" without warranty. It stores data locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss from your local machine.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
